Anna Dello Russo For H&M

Anna Dello Russo, editor-at-large and creative consultant for Vogue Japan, has just announced that she'll be collaborating with H&M on an accessories line. The line will debut in over 140 H&M stores on October 4th. This is actually one celebrity collaboration that I might considering waiting in line for.

Who doesn't love pastels in the spring? I'm currently a bit obsessed with mint, specially mint colored pants. Have you jumped on the mint trend yet?

LOOKBOOK: Just Got Real

Blouse: Brandy Melville (similar here), Skirt: H&M (similar here), Tights: DKNY (here), Shoes: H&M (similar here)

I love this skirt, it is so bright and flowy that it always puts me in a good mood. I actually haven't worn it since my last trip to Dubai in November. As bright as it is somehow it managed to get lost in the back of my closet. In most of the pictures I took I have to hold my hair down because it was pretty windy. The rest of the pictures had my skirt flying all over the place. These three look semi-decent.

People who know me are familiar with my Turkish soap opera obsession. It all started a few years ago when the Arab world was introduced to a Turkish soap opera named Noor that was dubbed in Arabic. I was hooked on a few of the soaps at the time but once I moved to LA I didn't have Arabic satellite channels anymore. Now that I'm back at home with the family I get my dose of MBC and ART.

The latest Turkish soap that's hitting us crazy Arabs is Fatima. When I first heard about the story I thought everyone was crazy but like my mother and all the aunties out there I am hooked. I started to get impatient waiting to find out what happens so like the crazy person I am I found the original episodes in Turkish (with English subtitles) to watch on YouTube. It's so good that my cousin Samar and I have been calling out "shit just got real" moments at least twice an episode. I'm signing off to go back to watching more Fatima.

LOOKBOOK: Together We're Giant

Top: Gap (similar here), Jeans: Purchased at a boutique on Melrose (similar here), Faux Fur Vest: Forever 21 (similar here), Shoes: L.A.M.B. (similar here), Hat: Giant's Dugout (similar here), Watch: Gucci (similar here)

I know I was on a roll with my outfit posts but as always I got busy. Plus it's been raining on and off in San Francisco so it's been hard to get outside and give myself a photo shoot. On the bright side baseball season is back which means our (I speak for the entire Bay Area) beloved San Francisco Giants are back for opening day tomorrow! I can't wait to go to a game (let me know if you wanna take me) and cheer on my boys. Although I'm no sports freak I love a good baseball or basketball game in the Bay Area. They're always so much fun. I can never even begin to understand American football though.

Double Denim: Do or Don't?

Do you remember when double denim was considered a fashion faux pas? I do! My friend and I used to always make fun of those awkward balding middle aged guys who proudly sported there double denim. We had a no D.D. rule. I never imagined that rockin' D.D. would ever look good on anyone. Well now I stand corrected because everyone is sporting double denim and it actually looks really good.

Double denim is definitely not for everyone but if you can pull it off more power to you. I personally don't see myself every going with this trend but that doesn't mean it can't be beautifully done.

Will you be rockin' the double denim trend anytime soon?
